Clarence O. Nelson founded Nelson Truck Equipment Company. The official name for the company at that time was Tires and Equipment Company. All that knew him called Mr. Nelson C. O. He remained active in the business up until his death in 1987 at the age of 94.

In the early years the company sold tires and school buses and later branched in truck equipment. In the late 50's the company saw the potential of accessories for pickups and quickly diversified to bring these products on board. As the years past Nelson Truck Equipment has changed to the needs of their customers. From pickup campers to bed liners to completely customized bodies.

Roy W. Nelson follows in his father's footsteps and leads the company into the future. With the location of three warehouses in Seattle, Kent and Spokane Nelson Truck Equipment can provide quality service to the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.

The Nelson family is still very active and devoted to carry on the tradition of their founder. Their employees are constantly seeking new and better solutions to suit the needs of our customers.
